WHAT did you JUST say?!

Okay, this isn't all that exciting... but I was TOTALLY taken off guard. Many of you know Chasey has a high pitched little voice. Yes, this is odd coming out of such a husky 2 year old...but none the less, he definitely has a soft sweetness to his voice. ANYWAY....

We were driving home tonight from Aunt Tenille's house... Of course I had my XM radio blarin'... But all of a sudden, Chase says...

WHAT THE HELL mommy?!

In my mind I'm thinkin' HOLY CRAP! What did my 2 year old just say to me? I've been dreading this day...

I turn back and look at him and say: WHAT?!

He then points out his dark window and says: The Hill Mommy. (Yeah... the freeway has a hill. He typically points out the trees, but tonight, it was a hill.)

RELIEF! I am so NOT ready for my baby to be asking me What the HELL mommy?! Yes, he is STILL my sweet, little (yet husky) two year old dude. THANK HEAVEN!

I remember VIVIDLY the times my kids have sworn and have meant for it to be exactly what they said. It is so hard to stay serious and teach them it is a bad word and not laugh, because let's face it, it is kinda funny when a kid slips one out.... I am glad this time it was just a mispronunciation!!!

That is such a cute picture of little Chasey! I have never seen that one before and I think it's my favorite of him ever! He looks so innocent! Which brings me to my next point... the little things he says! He is constantly surprising me. Sometimes I do here myself in some of things that he says. Like "crap". That is one that I am working on! :0 When Anna was little, she would say "fork". But it always sounded like she was saying something else! Of course, we made her say it often just so we could laugh! :)

I LOOOOVE that picture too. Believe it or not, Matt took it! It was at his and Raylene's house. Soo stinkin cute though. It's an old one, but I just love to remember his sweet innocence before he's DESTROYED by his older brothers' example! haha

LOL that's funny! We seriously need to work on our choice of words before Gavin does the same thing. What cuties!

Maybe I need to start watching my language around little Chasey...

Insert something clever here.
