My little Soccer Stud

It's official. I am a soccer mom. And well, I don't feel any different...

Wyatt, on the other hand, is a whole other story. :) He's on cloud nine.

We were finally able to find a program that took place on Saturdays. The City of Mesa classes all assume that there aren't any single working moms on the planet. #idiots #fail Each of their classes was mid day during the week. Young Champions of America came through for us though with a Saturday option! w00t!

At any rate, we got Wyatt all signed up. Not a horrible expense. $73 bucks for 11 weeks. That was just a drop in the bucket though compared to the other expenses you have to tack on. Who knew you needed so much GEAR?!

I of course got him all the essentials...but the package was NOT complete without a Smack Talking T-Shirt. I mean, come on. Every little punk has to have one of those!

Chase, of course, wasn't thrilled that he was too young to participate, so he and Wyatt "shared" the soccer socks the night before.

Well, by Saturday morning, Wyatt was giddy. Ready to go! We got him all dressed up and of course I made him pose. He was a sport...and super cute in his gear. Even Aunt Lindsay was excited for him to be an official 'soccer dude'!

We got to the field and the place was PACKED! Fortunately, I was computer savvy enough to pre-register, so we avoided the line. I was pretty impressed with the turn out, but definitely thought there were WAY too many kids.

There were about 35 kids total there, but fortunately we got broken up into teams of about 10, and assigned a team name and a practice time. Wyatt is officially one of the....

Chase and I of course sat on the sidelines..acting as the cheer squad.

Wyatt did really well his first time out... he did get plowed by some larger chicks that clearly were not taught manners, but he bounced back like a champ. And well, Chase is just WAITING for his day to shine.

Photo Book Fun...

I got an email about a Free Photo Book...so I thought, What the heck!? Why not! It was super fun to create..and I got to check out some older pictures that I hadn't seen in a while. Thought I'd share a few. :)

Ah, memories... I <3 my boys!

Wyatt Turned Five

That is all.

OK, yes, I'm a HUGE slacker these days. I assure you I will try to post more...eventually. Cut me some slack though! I'm BUSY! Just ask my license plate! ;)

I seriously have GOT to do some family pictures. This one is sort of lame...but it's what we posted to our ward website.... It's the best I can do on my own! ;)

Wyatt's First MLB Game

OK. I've been TOTALLY slacking on my blog...But in my defense, when I try to write it..my children just anger me with their neediness, so I think we can ALL agree I'm better off NOT BLOGGING. Between my 2 Facebook accounts and my 2 twitter accounts I feel people hear enough from me...am I right?!

I'm going to take a quick stab at this one tonight though (if the children die... I totally warned you!).

The backstory on our 1st game: I won 4 free tickets to the Dbacks Vs. Houston Astros on Friday. Won them from the entertainment guy at AZCentral/AZ Republic. Also, I should add, I won them on Twitter. I've never been to the ball park, so I was thrilled to get a FREE chance. Naturally, since I won them off of Twitter, from a tweep, I felt obligated (0k, I wanted to!) to live tweet the game to all of my followers. Anyway.. these were my tweets..from the start with TwitPics. Since I'm limited to 140 characters or less, this will not be wordy beyond this point..but you should get a total feel for how we spent our evening - kickin' back, watchin' the D'Backs! Woot!

Game time. Woof! Wait...what is that from??

Ready to roll!

Mmmmm traffic is fun!

Awwwwww

Technically, we ALSO spent money on a DBacks Rattler/Shaker thing and a Flag. So, while the tickets were free, the trip itself was not! Was sooo much fun though! Grandpa Crisp wasn't pictured...but he was there, kickin' back with us. In case you weren't sure, I was smart enough to leave CHASE with Grandma! FTW! (For the win.. google Twitter FTW if you aren't sure what that means... )

Have I mentioned that I <3 Twitter?

Insert something clever here.

ummmmmmmmmmmm
