Chase-isms

Typically I write about Wyatt’s ramblings…which are highly entertaining for the most part. However, today’s post will be dedicated to my little (or not so little) Chasey-boo (as Wyatt refers to him). Chase likes to talk. His mommy likes to talk too, so I take it as a good sign that he is following in my wonderful footsteps… most of the time. I am very impressed that he talks as much as he does for a 2 year old. Although, there are definitely moments I wish he WASN’T talking! (ha!) Or maybe wish he didn’t ask so many questions… But alas, he is a mommy’s boy in every way, shape and form. These are some of his words of wisdom.. enjoy! J

I wan do it mysehwff! – Uses this for just about everything, including things which are IMPOSSIBLE for him to do himself. If he’s not using that one, then it’s:

I wan MOMMY DO IT! - He said this one to Aunt Ashley MANY times during her visit. Not nice! Plus, maybe MOMMY DOESN’T WANT TO DO IT! Haha I’m not sure he thinks of that….Shoot kid, if someone else is willing to change your diaper, LET THEM! Don’t hold out for mommy to do it!

You gonna die in the water! This is a bizarre one, .that was used while he was using a ‘toy chainsaw’ to cut off my arm. CLEARLY he’s watching things he should NOT be. Gonna have to police his television viewing a little more.

That kid hurt me! - This was what he used after his nurse (probably about my age) gave him 2 shots last week. To Chase, everyone is a kid. Another example of this one – Ashely was in town with her kids – Once, when Ash had left the room, Chase said: Where dat other one kid go? (yes, Ashley was “dat other one kid”).

I smell stinky. – No, this does not mean HE smells stinky… it means he smells SOMETHING stinky and wants you to find the source. He assumes that it means that someone needs a diaper change…even if they don’t wear diapers!

Hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS, and I’ll post some pics after the big day!

I do love that little fat city. He does speak remarkably well for a 2 year old. Sometimes I love the silence that comes from my children. Why was he cutting off your arm with a chainsaw? what is that kid watching??

Insert something clever here.

ummmmmmmmmmmm
